About Us
Geo42.org is a blog run by John and Tina Callahan. We both love geography, geospatial science, and new technology. We especially enjoy applying these skills to environmental issues, such as water resources and climatology. Recently, information science is becoming a large factor in nearly everything we do and our interests and job responsibilities reflect that.
John is currently a geospatial application developer at the Delaware Geological Survey, University of Delaware. He has over 12 years experience with GIS and geospatial analysis techniques. John has also been heavily involved in geoweb (neogeography) applications with tools such as ArcIMS, ArcGIS Server, Google Maps, and more recently with MapServer and Open Layers.
Tina is currently a web developer for the University of Delaware. Tina has plenty of experience in web design, graphic design, and more recently with Content Management Systems Drupal and Wordpress. She also has 10+ years experience in GIS.
